Our child friendlyenvironment is designed to enhance your pediatric dental visit and our staff always takes the time to fully explain your child’s dental treatment, giving each patient the undivided attention they deserve and expect.
All our specialty and general pediatric dentistry services take place in our state-of-the-art dental office, where we accommodate all of our patients by providing the following dentistry services for infants, children, and teens:
Sealants - Dental sealants are thin plastic coatings that are applied to the grooves on the chewing surfaces of the back teeth to protect them from tooth decay.
Nitrous Oxide (Laughing Gas) - Some children are given nitrous oxide to help them relax. While your child remains fully awake and alert, laughing gas does not make them laugh during the procedure. The relaxed state it produces in the patient allows them to respond more favorably to dental procedures. The safest sedative to use in pediatric dentistry. It is non-addictive and non-allergic.
Sedation and Hospital Dentistry - In-office Sedation and General Anesthesia in the hospital setting.
Emergency Care - Kids will be kids. They run, they jump, they climb… they fall down. Never hesitate to call us in a dental emergency. Children’s dental emergencies may involve toothaches, accidents or injuries relating to the teeth, trauma to the soft tissues in the mouth, or dental pain. Please feel confident that pediatric dental emergencies always take priority with us. When these occurrences arise, give us a call immediately at 360-694-5559. For treatment needed after hours, you can call our emergency number. If you’re already a patient, Dr. Hardie is available 24 hours a day, and we accept new patient emergencies during regular office hours.
Teeth Cleaning - Good oral hygiene starts with regular dental cleanings. Regular teeth cleaning helps remove plaque and tartar build-up, which contribute to periodontal disease. We recommend all patients schedule this 45-minute appointment twice each year.
Preventative Care - We work with you to keep your mouth, teeth and gums healthy. We believe in a collaborate approach with the patient to create an effective preventive program that defends against dental diseases and conditions.
Tooth Colored Fillings - We provide restoration of tooth structure with metal, porcelain or resin materials. We will take care of your infant and child's cavities by using the most current technology available for fillings.
Silver Filling Replacement - We offer mercury-free fillings and replacements for those parents who prefer this option. Porcelain and composite resin tooth-colored restorations are not only beautiful, but also add strength to weakened teeth.
Digital Radiographs - Digital radiographs are essential diagnostic tools that provide valuable information to help us evaluate your oral health. We can look at what is happening beneath the surface of your teeth and gums to identify any potential problems and create an individualized dental treatment plan.
Our friendly staff are here to help. We accept most insurances and offer emergency services, should the need arise.
We offer nitrous oxide and sedation for children who are anxious about seeing the dentist.
